Since the outbreak of Covid-19, many of us have taken to our homes to self-isolate and attempt to flatten the curve. The indefinite isolation puts you in a state of panic, not knowing what to expect!

Here are a few tips to coping with this Lockdown Phase!

Change from, “I am stuck at home”, to “I can focus on my home and myself”.

With all the negative news going around, it is human nature to feel “down in the dumps”.

Lets look at this Mandated Lockdown as a way to complete tasks that we have put off for so long or claimed we never had the time to complete. Even if you accomplish one task per day, you would feel 100 times better.

Stick to your normal routine

Each day get up as if you are going to work. A lot of people fall into the trap of lying in bed whole day and surfing the internet.

In order to keep your sanity, get out of your pj’s, continue with your normal day.

Avoid obsessing Over Corona News

I am guilty of this as well. It is human nature to want to know what is happening in the world, especially at a time like this.

Im sure some of us, if not all of us have had a symptom or two, or so we thought.

Watching the news 24/7 makes us paranoid, scared and overwhelmed, which in turn leads to stress and we all know that stress is not good for your health.

Yes, we must be informed. Check the news twice a day and occupy the rest of your time with other tasks or spend time with the family .

Keep the House as tidy as possible

This is a good practice. It not only minimises germs but also keeps you sane.

Chaotic Home can lead to a chaotic mind, so try and keep it tidy and decluttered.
